Does eye tracking affect my eyes?

No. The sensor uses infrared light (IR) to calculate your point of gaze. This type of light is also used by modern smartphones and is not visible to the human eye. It is also found everywhere in our natural environment, such as in candlelight or sunlight.

The sensors comply with the European standard EN 62471, which ensures that all products with light emissions are harmless to humans. You can find further certifications of the hardware used here.
