Why does computer interaction become more efficient with NUIA?

NUIA uses its two core features, Smart Teleport and NUIA Click, to save time by reducing mouse usage. This article explains how each feature works in more detail and demonstrates them in short videos.

In today's digital workplaces, employees use multiple monitors and software tools simultaneously – switching between windows, clicking buttons, and filling out fields all day long. This results in thousands of mouse movements and clicks every day.

But here's the catch: Every time your hand moves from keyboard to mouse and back, it silently drains your productivity – taking up to 3 seconds per switch, even for experienced users. That adds up fast – especially in high-volume, transactional roles like customer service and business services.

NUIA solves this hidden time-waster by using your gaze to speed up how you interact with your computer. Its two core features, Smart Teleport and NUIA Click, dramatically reduce mouse usage – or eliminate it altogether.

🖱️ Smart Teleport – Let your eyes guide the mouse

Input: Eyes + Mouse
How it works: Just nudge the mouse slightly, and the pointer instantly jumps to where you're looking.
Result: You don’t need to steer the mouse manually across the screen – the pointer is already where it needs to be.

🎥 In the demo video, you’ll see how effortlessly this works: the user moves the mouse just a little, and the cursor "teleports" to the gaze point.
A small bubble visualizes the user’s gaze for demo purposes – it’s hidden during normal use.

👁️ NUIA Click – Click where you look

Input: Eyes + Keyboard
How it works: Simply look at a button or input field and press a designated key (e.g., right Shift) – that’s it. Since your gaze naturally lands on the target first, the click happens instantly.
Result: No need to move your hand to the mouse – and no mouse movement at all.

🎥 In the video, you’ll see how the user simply looks and presses a key – no mouse involved.
Again, the gaze bubble is only shown in the video and not during actual usage.

Why it matters

Switching from keyboard to mouse and back takes 3 seconds on average.
Using NUIA Click takes just 1 second, because your hands never leave the keyboard.

Over the course of a workday, this small difference results in 5–10% less interaction time – simply by removing the mouse as a bottleneck.
